    Price Change

    Just bought this Apple iPad Pro (10.5”, WiFi, Cellular, 64GB), Rose Gold (Previous Model) on 12/31/19 for $529.00. Today, 1/1/20 when I pulled it up on Amazon for some information, I noticed the price had changed to $639.00.

    Entrepreneurs beware!!! You CAN’T have your company logo in your auto email signature.

    Entrepreneurs beware! If you would like to use your ipad to write emails to clients, and you want to actually have your company logo in your automatic signature, you CAN’T. Apple and I spent lots of time on the phone trying to work this out. They then escalated it and said it would take me turning my signature and logo into HTML. I did that (After they told me to have my IT person do it, like all small businesses have IT people at their disposal). It still won’t show up when I populate it into the signature field. Apple says this is a problem with their iPads and they aren’t sure whey someone told me to turn it into HTML. Nice. It took me 5 min to get this to work on my Samsung Note 9, but I don’t like to send clients emails on that device. I really like my iPad, but this is extremely disappointing. Don’t buy an iPad if you want your emails to look professional.

    You Get What You Pay For?!!!

    What you see is what you get. The same gorgeous, pristine and simple packaging that all Apple products come in. The iPad is stunning to look at. It’s got a beautiful rose-metallic look to it, white edging and large screen, as advertised. You get a cord, with adaptor; a small card that says “Welcome to iPad Pro” which gives you a bunch of one-liners that really don’t tell you much; and a card with a paperclip-like thing that shows a drawing that seems to indicate you stick it in the side of the iPad to eject something, maybe?. THAT’S ALL YOU GET!!! No explanations. Nothing that tells you where you can find instructions on how to set it up. NOTHING! Go online and you’ll find tons of YouTube videos and pages that try to give explanations, but you ask yourself, “Are they talking about my iPad Pro? Which generation is it? Is it a 2018 or 2019 version?” Nothing in the box identifies which kind of iPad Pro you just took out of the box. So you figure out that you can plug it in and at least get it charged. On one of the online instructions you find somewhere it says to place you iPhone next to the iPad and it will set it up automatically. Mine did nothing when I set them next to one another. I’ll check back in if I ever get this damn thing set up or return it to Amazon whichever comes first…

    Hard to live without

    This unit replaced an older iPad Pro I had that met with an unfortunate accident and needed to be replaced. In general, I’ve been using an iPad since the minis came out in 2012, and I’ve used which ever was my current one nearly every day since for everything I could use my phone for and much more, especially as an e-reader. When I broke my iPad Pro that replaced my first generation 32-bit mini a few years ago, I really felt the loss. It has turned into to an item I find very hard to live without, and so I ordered this one as a replacement.This one has a slightly bigger screen than the one it replaced. It has a 10.5 inch screen vs the 9.7 inch my old one had. To me, it also feels slightly longer than my old one, and isn’t quite as comfortable to hold for long periods, though I plan on getting a case with straps or a grip on the back that I think will help me out in that area. Otherwise, it has the same processing power that the older one did, but I think Apple may have made some performance improvements to this newer model because it seems to run faster and the graphics are amazing.

    No completely new

    The product was delivered and is functioning fine We were disappointed that we were unable to register the iPad for Apple Care because it was apparently too old and out of the range they accept Apple Care. It still had the normal Warrenty, but no way to extend it. It therefore was not a New pad when it was sent to us.

    this is our third iPad.. i bought this for my wife.. i bought it in a cheaper price because it’s an Amazon price deal last thanksgiving.. this is a brand new and sealed in the original box..this iPad is much better than the older iPad that we had.. navigating from app to app is faster.. this is not a laptop replacement, but definitely the best alternative and very handy when you travel a lot.. i just wish that the Apple pencil and headset is included in the package.. but still i highly recommend this product..

    I love this iPad so so much its still great with the apple pencil and works nicely it took a while to update it. I would say that its definitely worth the money and so good to use it came with the battery at 0% and took a while to charge though, at first I thought it was defected but it still works great I would recommend

    Microphone didn’t work 🙁

    Annoying that we had to reboot and try all kinds of tricks before we got the microphone to work. I bought for my 80 year old mother to give her a better option for FaceTime and photos the first experiences die her were frustrating. She is a savvy iPhone and Apple Watch user but there are quirks to the iPad and microphone glitch makes me wonder about quality.

    Not as advertized, NOT NEW – 1+ year old, no Apple warranty

    I received iPad Pro 10.5-inch on October 24, 2020. Item was sealed and looked like new.All Apple products I purchased before were almost fully charged. This one had no charge in battery and it raised my concern.I start doing research and on two of 3rd party web sites (you could google the web site or one of them is sickw-dot-com) I found that my serial number was sold in June 2019 (yes, 2019 not 2020). I called Apple and they said that iPad is out of warranty.I called Amazon Customer Service (CS) and they ordered replacement and assured that next one will be New with no problem.Guess what – replacement was sold in June 2019. I called Apple again and they said that iPad is out of warranty.I spoke to Amazon CS supervisor (Ron) and explained everything to him. He promised investigation on the issue and assured me that next one will be New with no problem.Guess what – replacement #2 was sold in June30, 2019. I called Apple again and they said that iPad is out of warranty.I spoke to multiple Amazon CS supervisors, explained everything to them. The only option I heard – we will refund you the money.I purchased this iPad not to get refund, I need NEW iPad they promised.Here are 2 problems:- No Apple warranty- Battery – if any Li-xx battery sits on the shelf for 1 year, it will lose from 5% of its capacity (if stored at 0 degree Celsius (32F), means in refrigerator) to 25-30% (if stored at 20 degree Celsius (68F)) and even more capacity in higher temperatures. I don’t believe Amazon stored it in refrigerators, best case in their warehouse it was 70F or even more during summer. In 1 year and 4 months, battery probably lost 30-40% of its capacity.I am not sure if it is legal to sell product with degraded specification and without everything what goes with new product (warranty) and is re-sold from previous sale.On the top of it – I am not sure if Amazon is registered reseller of Apple products.

    I had no idea that there was a return date

    My wife went ahead and already purchased one, and I had no idea. I have returned things via Amazon before and everything is always hassle free and returning purchases is so wonderful in the way things are handled. I cannot believe we will be obligated to now pay for (2) of these and not be able to return this product!!!!!

    Did not work and wasted a ton of time

    The cellular service did not work. I drove to T-mobile twice, spent way to much time there. Then spent over an hour troubleshooting the iPad with apple. I returned the Ipad and went to Costco to pick one up.

    Mine has a bug or screen is bad

    When I press and hold to save a picture online, when the save box comes up, it disappears as soon as I lift my finger before I can save it. I have had 6 ipads of all gen and none have ever done this. Very annoying! Also, the battery life is not good, it drains fast even with lower brightness set. I know it’s an older model I bought new on Amazon Prime day, so I am not sure if it has anything to do with that or not.

    Okay so I can’t afford this but my children use our neighbors one. And it’s very family friendly and easy for all ages. As a mom of 4 I can be honest and say I would definitely buy my family each one. Especially school kids ….. this is perfect ! Hope you all enjoy it!
