Replacing an 18yr old Mac and only reason is can’t use internet due to no longer being able to update browsers…. it is still working much to my amazement…So this is the replacement and it may just outlive me if as good as the first one. Have it all set up and running such an easy process with a Mac… So far LOVE it

Awesome Device Awesome Seller Interaction
Don’t get me wrong this laptop is great and even that is an understatement, but for me it just ain’t what I need. I am a die hard Windows User and Android oriented never really been a big fan of Apple since I had an iPhone 7 thar took a dump when I needed it.Overall my experience with Apple have been fair over the years but this was just horrendous I literally could not figure out MacOS to save my life it is horrible. I have an iPad and I’d much rather use that it has the M1 Chip in it and it competes neck and neck with this laptop. If you’re an apple fan this is probably the best laptop you could buy currently in 2023. I can’t recommend it but so many reviews online highly recommend it which is why I bought it and the fact that the company I work for uses Apple products this would work seamlessly with those. After trying to figure out the software for what seemed like an eternity I just gave up and just decided this ain’t for me so I gave in and submitted the return request. Thankfully the seller worked with me and it will be sent back to where it came from.

My old pc lasted over 11 years. So, I bought M2 Pro with intention to use for next 10+ years.Speed, ease of use, etc are unparallel.I use it by connecting to my 4K monitor and Magic Keyboard.I love it. I say buy it.

Unexpected Terrible Screen Responce Time
Screen responce time of my macbook display is very slow. I disappointed after expecting fast 120hz and in result I see screen performance on level with legacy lcd and a lot of ghosting on movement and scrolling. Watching 60hz videos is very uncomfortable for me because during active movements in any video all details is blured and me eyes is very tired because can’t concentrate on object in foreground.

Great as usual
My old PowerBook Pro died after 7 years and it was time to upgrade. This model came as expected. After the initial hours of setup, it could not be any better. It’s fast, cool-looking but I miss the control bar they did not include in these latter models. A Mac is a Mac and a loyal user since 1987 could not be happier to try this new processor.

Best All Around!
Wanted to replace my 2012 MAC Book Pro and went all out–this is a fantastic computer! My other Mac went over ten years and I simply retired it for this one. Smooth transition and seamless running with my IPHONE!I did copy my passwords on a flash drive and port them over separately and it was just like my old Mac–only now it’s stupid fast!!!!!!

Wow!
Words can’t begin to describe how large the 16 inch is. It’s stunning.Upgrading from a 2019 MacBook Pro Intel chip, these thing puts all older MacBooks with Intel silicon to shame. Why did apple ever use Intel anyway? It’s pricey, but it’s worth it.

Amazing
I look forward to owning this laptop for the next 12 years (that’s how long my last one lasted). Only comment would be that the 16″ model is beefy; that screen size comes with a little bit of added weight. Worth it for me – Enjoy!

Best laptop Apple has ever produced
I recently replaced my 2018 Macbook Pro with this one and it’s the best laptop Apple has ever produced. The keyboard is infinitely better and the battery life is as good as it gets (think all day and into the night with full brightness turned up). It doesn’t heat up and get loud when pushed to its limits like my last one did. I run Windows on it simultaneously using Parallels and it doesn’t affect the speed at all. The screen is beautiful and the sound is great as well.I also love that they brought back all the ports (especially the HDMI port). I got tired of carrying dongles around. Overall, a huge improvement over my 2018 model and I feel confident it will last me for the next 5 years or so!

Amazing battery life for Work and School.
The battery life on this is flat out amazing. The sleep mode is works wonders. If you need a laptop that will last multiple days with moderate use, before a charge this is it. I can take it to work and school, with no worries that it will die out on me. The processor is very fast and works great for Art. It even does surprisingly well at some GPU intensive things like Stable Diffusion AI Art.

Best Mac I’ve Ever Had
These Apple Silicon chips are all they’re hyped up to be. This thing flies. If you haven’t tried the new M1/2 Macs you’re in for a treat. The display is amazing and the sound is Atmos built in… it’s really phenomenal. Just be sure to get at least the 1TB storage option, as the 512 base model has SSD speeds HALF of the 1TB+ models. 16GB RAM is actually fine so far using Resolve, Adobe, Chrome… all at once. If you don’t need the HDMI 2.1 or other tiny upgrades, you may be better off getting M1 and saving money, as everything else is close.

So Disappointed I Sent It Back
Yesterday, I received my new 16” MacBook Pro. Today, I’m sending it back. There are so many little and big things that bother me that I really don’t care to spend $7,500 for a computer that is clunky and unpleasurable to use. I am spoiled by my 2019 16” MacBook Pro, so I plan to go back to it. What garnered so much of my ire in the new MacBook? Here’s a short list: I miss the Touch Pad’s quick and sure ability to toggle back and forth to the desktop (the hot corners are not surefooted)—and most of all, the one-key ease of selecting the same portions of the screen such as charts over and over with a single keystroke; the keys and touch pad are noisy, feel clicky and cheap; I have often used 4 USB ports at a time—the new MacBook Pro has only 3 ports—the others I don’t care about; the charger is unique—I would have to buy extras or adapters and the case is difficult to pop open except with fingernails, plus its feet don’t grip smooth surfaces—thoughtless design functionality. Most of all, the much-vaunted speed of the new chip is a yawner—I really didn’t notice any speed difference from the 2019 version. And, I hated the constant double-trouble verification process that continually drove me to my cell phone to receive 6-digit passcodes. The Touch ID is as balky and useless as on my 2019—still not perfected. In all, I traded in a luxury used car for a stripped down new model. This is progress?

Stay away from this piece of s——!!!
i bought a 16 inch macbook pro for $2,600 . A week later, I see lines on the screen. I take it to Apple Store and they are telling there is a crack inside the screen, eventhough I never dropped or taken it outside my house. Since I did not buy AppleCare and this internal crack is not covered by the warranty, I am asked to pay $848 for to fix it. This is unacceptable and total BS. What are my options?
